The second game was great if seen by itself. It just couldn't pack the punch of the original.

I've judged it that way myself, I was going by a generalisation in this post. The game was good, but not as in depth gameplay and plotwise.

I'm tempted to jump into it again though.
(KotOR and Mass Effect are kind of distracting though.)

KotOR II, now there's a sequel which failed to deliver. I've just been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It makes me want to install Fallout again.

So I've been told. Rushed to meet the demands of the Suits more than the Fans.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R looks interesting. Only knew of it recently thanks to Zero Punctuation including a picture of the box art among Deus Ex and KotOR when discussing good Western R.P.Gs VS Eastern R.P.Gs.
(For the "The World Is Not Enough" review I think. That or "Oblivion"'s.)
