How awesome was the first game?
This was the theme and box design.

And that was just the theme. It got WAY better. A thinking man's RPG-cross-FPS, much like System Shock 2.
The second game was dumbed down for the console market (much like Bioshock is just a watered down SS2 with better graphics - pun intended) for a big wad of cash from the console market, then giving PC users the port-across without any improvements, even in control layout, to save cash there too.
Here's hoping they learn from their mistakes, and aren't just flogging a dead horse for more cash.
