Ah this story~ I was hoping you had not dropped it. It continues to grow more interesting by the chapter (while in reverse Arthur's freedom seems to shrink, as Prussia pointed out). I still love your rebellious Arthur here, taking verbal jabs whenever possible.

"Offering a hand, Arthur smiled at him. 'The United Kingdom of Great Britain, Lord Arthur Kirkland. Charmed.'"
I loved that line and grinned devilishly myself.

France continues to tug my heart strings and for a fleeting moment there, I thought he was back. As for Prussia, I just get the chills whenever he's happy.

Wonderful job with the scene in the bathroom and how the Nazi Occupation is affecting England even physically. No matter how "well" he seems to be handling the situation he's in (sort of...), it seems he may be fighting a losing battle. Keep fighting, Arthur! We're rooting for you!

This is brilliant. Just brilliant. ♥ The way you write each nation and pay such meticulous attention to each one's character is marvelous. I love Roderich, in particular; I haven't read nearly enough fics with him, and my goodness, you write him wonderfully, despite his small appearances. ♥ The imagery all throughout this fic is beautiful, and I love how you thread the dealings of war so easily into this character-based story. Lovely work, really. ♥ Keep up with it!

I really wanted to do a character-focused story for such a long time and I'm glad the characters are shining through. And I'll probably try to throw in more Roderich, he's awesome.

Oh my gosh, my friend stumbled upon this story and just kept going on and on about how wonderful it is and demanded I read it--and I'm so so glad I did--this really is a fascinating story.

The idea of what would it be like if England was occupied during this time by Nazi Germany...it really makes you think about how easily history can change if one thing had happened differently. But I love love the idea that Arthur wouldn't ever go down without a fight, occupied or not. He's too...Iggyish for that.

And Francis is breaking my heart oh my goshhh D: I want to just hug him...I kind of have a thing for Vichy France -- and I adore this portrayal of him, it fits my headcannon perfectly.~

Then there's Gilbert. He's just so much love~ Though I'm well aware that, by default, Prussia is awesome, you somehow managed to make him wicked awesomer. I don't know how, but whatever you're doing, please keep it up.

I'm glad you like this story so much ^^ It's a pleasure to write when I see big long comments like this <3 And yes, England is waaay to stubborn to go down without a good try at fighting back.

Gilbert is definitely harder to write in this one as I have to keep him cocky, but still utterly malicious. But when I do get in right, he comes off as badass, but not silly, very rewarding XD
