I'm watching Project Runway! Who are your favorites? Mine's probably Seth Aaron.

I love Seth Aaron's style, and I'd love for him or Emilio to win. Mila really grates on me, she just doesn't seem like a very nice person and I find some of her looks boring, or just really unflatteringly weird. Jay is great, but I don't think he's as strong as the others.

Do you watch models of the runway too?

I agree on Mila - I've occasionally really liked her stuff, but often it kind of misses the mark for me. And though her personality has grown on me some, I'm still not the biggest fan.

I haven't seen Models of the Runway. Is it any good?

Ooh, it's pretty cool. It's interesting to see things more behind the scenes, like how the models get picked, who they want to work with and such. Some of it can be a bit boring, like what they get up to in the week. I mostly watch for the start and end, where you see their reaction to the elimination and then when they get picked by the designers.

2) I totally understand that feeling. Bandom was what got me into fandom in a big way; I'd read fic before, but it had never been a way of really meeting people and getting to know them and just being involved in a fandom. But, like you said - there is so much awesomeness out there! (Which clearly you've discovered - figure skating RPF is making my life at the moment, and once I see GenKill I'm sure I'll need the recs.)

II have to admit, I actually haven't even watched GenKill all the way through, it was just too heavy for me. I watched the first few, and then the last, enough to get somewhat invested in the characters. And I definitely prefer the AUs because war's scare. That's why hackthis is so great, she has a bunch of AUs.

Aw, that makes me really happy! I am totally in love with layout too actually, but I just really wish it displayed in all browsers properly. :( It's pretty horrid in IE because the edges don't round. I'm really trying right now to design something I love as much.

It's the first time I've seen the US version, and I downloaded it from ihearttvshows. Maybe you can torrent it?

See, I love war dramas. I get really into them and, much as they are unbelievably painful to watch (and I sometimes need to take a few hours on my own afterwards) I appreciate the way you can get so invested in the characters, and understand people's stories.

...if I knew anything about torrents, I'm sure that'd work.
