Ugh. I just read this fic that started out decently, but as it progressed, turned into bad!fic. Horrible. It also dealt with a pretty major situation in the worst way. A couple was separated in a ridiculous way, with little comment, and then had a stupid resolution, right at the end. I'm so pissed. >:( The writing was okay-ish, a little shmoopy,

I had a similar experience with a fest fic I was just reading. The bad thing is, I think it's by an author I usually like. Oh well, we all have off days!

Oh, that's a shame. But yeah, there are a few authors that a hit and miss, some good, some not so good. But the good always make up for it. :)

Yes! Ugh. I mean, it certainly wasn't the worst, I was able to read through to the end, otherwise I would have stopped, but it was just such a disappointment.

People who don't use betas really, really bother me. (It makes me feel all unloved...*sniffle*) No, mostly I just think you can tell, and I hate reading something that I know could have been that much better if someone had just looked it over for them.

I just wanted to say that I love your icons! You always have such interesting ones, and they are always really, really cool.

Yeah, and I kinda don't get how they don't want someone to look it over. Wouldn't you want to really make sure it was in the best shape before you put it for other people to make judgements on? I'd need at least a three-person approval. ;D Me and my weird issues again.
