today i bought garden state, cruel intentions and mean girls. hooray.

i was just called 'hot' by, of course, some myspace guy. i hate that word. i equate it with lustfulness. it has no sentimental value whatsoever.

he says "beautiful", not "hot".
he says "you", not "u".
he said "i love you".. in front of his guy friends.

i love him

i pray it's different.

i pray history does not repeat itself.

i pray these words are meaningful.

i pray the end will not break me.

i pray these efforts are not wasted.

i pray for the future.

it's strange to feel like you've known someone forever but yet never met them. what's stranger is to feel more compassion for them than you've felt for anyone else.

this scares me more than anything.

today i was driving to meet sami at chipotle. i had my windows down and a homeless man on the corner approached me.

homeless man: you should be on the cover of the mademoiselle! you're beautiful!
