Spring Break, YAY YAAAAAAAY!
well, i guess you could say that this weekend was fun.
friday after school, jessica called me to see if i wanted to go to the shingle springs show. we ended up getting a ride out there with stephanie. i met a lot of really cool people. on the downside, i've never seen so many fights break out in my life. it was a battle between the punks and hardcore kids. some crazy stuff went down. some of the punks were whipping around chains, it was insane. the owners of the venue didn't do anything about it, either.
the punk lifestyle rather disgusts me. who decided it was a good idea to base a subculture around self-made clothing, drinking, STDs, and lack of showering? hmm..
after the show a bunch of us went to denny's. the waitress hated us the second we stepped foot inside the place. i tried to be extra nice to her so she wouldn't spit on my mozzarella sticks. oh well, i'm still alive. all in all, it was good times.
went to andrew's last night to watch movies. his cat is a savage, but i love it. surprisingly, andrew didn't hate garden state. he's leaving for boston for a week, i'm gonna miss him.
tomorrow i'm going out to coffee with wes and then to hang out with angela, chantel, and amos. tuesday, jessica and i are organizing a movie outing to see the ring 2 with all the CP kids. good times ahead. perhaps spring break won't suck too badly after all.
