I've been pretty happy with Adagio. Fast and easy ordering and the samplers are wonderful. I've had no trouble ordering online. I've gotten my order surprisingly fast, which is nice for when you really want something.

The quality seems good but I'm far from an expert and usually order rooibos and a handful of others.

I don't have enough experience to really be an expert. :P I drink as much grocery store bagged tea as I do loose leaf. Sometimes I can tell a little bit of a quality difference between those two, but that's about it.

I really like Adagio. They ship quickly, their customer service is impeccable, and you can make your own blends of tea, or try other people's.

i've only ordered once from adiago, but i got some really good teas by buying their sample packages. they all came in nice little tins, i gave some away as gifts and the rest i kept. they were all good! and i actually found the "sample size" is be pretty decent - you get a good number of cups from one. if you're hesitating, or not sure which teas to buy, i recommend the sample packs.

i understand your trepidation about ordering online (it makes me nervous, too) but i had a very good experience. if i remember correctly, they don't keep your credit card number on your account (which always bothers me with other online stores.)

That's great that they don't keep your card number on your account. :D

I prefer Upton or just going to Bird Pick or Chinatown, myself. Teavana's tea is overpriced and not worth it.
