I hope I don't open a can of worms with this post. :x I don't mean to insult anyone's brand preference!
At the moment I'm not terribly happy with teavana. The last batch of peppermint I got from them tasted very strange, like it had marigold flowers mixed in it or something. O_o Plus they're expensive and they don't have a huge selection going on.
So I've been looking into adagio teas. I'm shocked at their difference in prices, particularly for the white tea. Teavana's whites often cost 12 and up for 2oz, while it looks like you get the same amount of adagio white tea (2oz?) for 8 and up, depending on the type. (I see some are 20+ for 2oz, but luckily those are flavors I'm not interested in, I like the fruit flavors more.)
So my question is this: are their teas good quality? I'm worried the price difference might mean lower quality tea.
I'm also used to phone ordering and they don't have that option. Are the safe to order from online?
