Dear Mary,

I’ve arrived at Hogwarts and everyone here can do magic! Dad was wrong. I’m not a freak. There are lots of people like me. The professors are very good at it. My headmaster just waved his hand and a whole feast appeared on all of the tables in the Great Hall!

Of course I like my sister. I mean, she can be a bit bossy from time to time, but I still like her. She sometimes pulls down the big books from the high shelves in fath--the study.

Until I came here, I didn't know anyone else that could.

Mary's my sister. She's two years older and a bit bossy. She thinks she knows everything. I am actually happy that I won't be going to the same secondary school as she attends. I'm always compared to her and it's rather aggravating.

Do you have any brothers and sisters?
I can't remember if she asked that.

I have two younger brothers, Arcturus and Altair. They're horrid.

I think that Arcturus is in Myrtle's year, in Slytherin, of course. Not sure, though. In CQ canon, he's Sirius and Regulus' father; Altair is the girls' father and is the youngest.

Do all older siblings feel that way about their younger brothers and sisters? Mary gets annoyed with me when I ask her to play school with me.

Silly boy! With curling rods. You heat them up on the stove and then curl your hair round them. Then you put a sleeping cap on and in the morning your hair is lovely and curly.
