It's very annoying when people don't tell you the whole story, isn't it? My dad's never really told me of how is brother died... it's like he thinks he still has to protect his innocent little Susan or something...

It's so annoying isn't it? Father seems to think I'm some delicate little thing who will swoon at the first hint of bad news. I mean honestly, I'm his daughter after all! A Black! I can handle these things!

I'm planning on doing some extra work on hexes and curses Gilderoy. Perhaps you'd like to assist me?

Oh, and Mother took care of the house-elf. He looked lovely on the mantel among the garlands.

Well, Father doesn't work per se, but this new business of his may be what's causing his distraction.

Wow, your dad is starting a new business? Businesses are really hard work. My dad runs a frame shop.

He doesn't start new businesses. I think he gives money to people and then they start businesses. I don't really understand how it works. I know that he and Uncle go into some things together, but I'm not sure if this is one of them.

I'm fairly certain he was meeting someone in Porlock to discuss something new. It must be very complicated if he's this distracted by it.

Frame shop? Like for sending people up you mean? I didn't know they had shops for things like that.

It's different this time Andromeda. He's so preoccupied. When was the last time he ignored a house-elf mistake?!

Well, maybe something very important happened. Or very bad. And he's worrying about it. He does a lot of very important work with lots of money, I'd probably worry if I were him.

I think something important has happened. Something very important! I know he does serious work with money, but this is different somehow. He seems almost frightened of something. And I've never seen him like this before.
