It all had started when one day Jasper had noticed Barton leaving Phil's office, playing with one of Phil's favorite pens, the black one that no one was allowed to touch, looking pretty smug. Another day he had seen the man carrying Phil’s handkerchief, because Phil was a kind of a person who was still using handkerchiefs. That had been enough to make Jasper curious.

He wasn't even sure why whatever Barton was doing bothered him so much, but Jasper blamed it on curiosity. Phil, Maria and Melinda kept telling him that he was far too curious for his own good sometimes, of course. It kept coming back to bite him in the ass more often than not, but sometimes he just really couldn’t help himself. Jasper liked knowing things

Haha! Oh Jasper, always seeing things that he really ought to just ignore for the sake of his sanity. And Clint being so stealthy to sneak up when Jasper's with Phil. XD I love that Clint is stealing all the best of Phil's stuff to nest with too.

My initial plan for this ficlet was a bit different, but Jasper demanded attention and suddenly he became the main character *lol*

I had so much fun writing him being surprised by Clint XD Clint can be very sneaky when he wants to be.
