For months Simon's had the same dream. He's falling, tumbling down a patch of grass, the moon is high up in the night sky. There is someone else with him, strong arms supporting him, helping him up. His knees bloody. Words in a foreign language he can't distinguish, they blur together as it does his face. He always wakes up before he can see the face of the guy, who holds him and make something hot and heavy press against his ribcage.

He's not an expert on dream interpretation but he knows there is something about mistery dream guy. He's special.

***He resents Clary for being sick and leaving him to fend for himself in the jungle better known as highschool. He'd go sit by Izzy, but it's way too early to be greeted by Alec's scowling face. The Lightwoods are a little bit better behaved when Clary is around ( ... )
