Sherlock (BBC)/Highlander, John/Sherlock + Methos, Sherlock dies at the pool and doesn't awaken before the authorities arrive. John calls his old teacher for help in clearing up the mess.

Just 10 seconds before reading this I was thinking it would be so cool if Mycroft and Sherlock were Methos's kids. This fic is very much what I was looking for, any plans for more? I wonder how long it would take before Mycroft was on top of things again.

Ha. I hadn't even thought of the relationship before Mycroft turned around and greeted Methos as Father. I had thought they were just old friends, but then it just seemed to work so well.

I don't have any particular plan for more of this, but I imagine Mycroft regains his cool pretty quickly, at least on the outside. On the inside he always feels like a teenager when Father is around.

Thanks! And yeah, John does tend towards under-reacting, but I think that's a requirement when your flatmate keeps heads in the fridge.

Methos, explain himself? Surely not. *grin* Maybe he's why Mycroft and Sherlock are so good at figuring things out on very little evidence.
