In my local area we were without Virgin Media TV for about 24 hours whilst their local engineer tried to fix the problem. Not too much of a problem for me as I have a 4K UHD Samsung smart TV also connected to the internet, which does not need the Virgin TV box and so I was still able to connect with BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, Apple TV and others. I had to put up with Strictly Come Dancing when my Mum was living with me for 7 months... Glad I am free of it, now!
