It's kind of neat to see them meet just as normal people. It makes you wonder what sort of person they would have been if it wasn't for the Joker and being born in Gotham.

Yep, tons of possibilities for these characters. That's one of the reasons Batman's the best superhero, his allies and enemies. Thanks for the comment and if you'd like to see a particular pairing for my next drabble, let me know.
