The thing about the Las Vegas heat is, you can't escape it. You can run but you definitely can't hide. The best thing to do is embrace it. Become one with it. I like warm weather. And I love hot weather.

My limited desert experience (two weeks in Central Australia) agreed with me quite well.

the way you feel about the desert.... is how i feel about the ocean. i could never live more than 30 minutes from it. ever.

we have stuff in common that way. i grew up in the desert, but it was also one of the richest places on earth money wise i mean. kind of surreal. few people think of air conditioning as life support, but we know how that can be.

delhi's summers are akin to desert climate but the winters are a bitch too, so im enjoying summer while i can.

Just checked for your LJ - was a little surprised 9don't know why) to find it's still there.

Followed the pic link on one of your posts, and some of those desert pics are so beautiful they almost hurt. I used to live in the desert - maybe that's got something to do with it.

Tell Jim hello for me. You probably heard the 'link killed call center ops in CA and Roseville got shut down. ... er, 'offshored' I guess it is.
