As I’ve said before there is no one answer. Behavior is determined by many things. My psych professor said thinking there is one magic thing that makes you act the way you do is one huge misconception he’s seen. I know this next thing isn’t really relevant but remember when you wrote about how most books are lacking realism? Well I found one that’s amazing and has every ounce of realism you could want. It’s not about cutting but it’s about addiction and reading it I’m finding some very similar things between the addiction of cutting and the addiction of drugs. It called A Million Little Pieces if you want to read it.

Yes, I have read the book you mentioned. There was a huge scandal about parts of it being made up. Did you know that?
