Two Years And Counting...

Two years ago today I ruptured the casing around my radius and ulna. I damaged the nerves in my right arm and lost feeling in my last two fingers for months. My arm was as black and the computer I am typing on, and I realized that I had finally reached a point of no return

Thank you so much for your kind words. It is hard to be so open and honest about something that society pins so much shame on like self-injury. But it warms my heart to know that somehow my experiences have touched others. I no longer feel so alone. Comments like yours remind me how important talking about self-injury really is. One day, I hope the stigma is gone--forever!

Congrats! It's so helpful to hear that others are actually stopping. As of February 13 I've gone a year without cutting.
