Getting Killed For Kindness

I am deeply troubled by the announcement that the pregnant woman who was missing, was found, ten days after her disappearance, dead, in a state park about 30 miles from her home. I cannot imagine the amount of anxiety or grief her family must be going through, and I am left with the rest of the world to wonder why ( Read more... )

Oh my god I'm so sorry about your friend,t hat is so horrible. you poor thing. *hugs* it's terrible about that woman too. be careful.

It seems that I am constantly reminded to be safe in a dangerous world. Again on the news last night, another example of a family being slaughtered for apparently "no reason". It is so important to remain vigillant, to remind ourselves that although a person may appear to be one way, in reality, they could be another. In the end, my life is much more important than some of the risks I may take, even if I think it is to "help someone" at the time.

I never think of people being dangerous or anything, something could easily happen to me. thank you for reminding me to be careful.
