Just what I have been looking for... cjprice June 19 2007, 12:21:36 UTC
For the past few weeks I have been looking for an inpatient facility that would meet my needs. I have self-abused since my teen years (I'm 37 now) and have a trauma history. I am also a Christian and would like to have my faith intergrated into the program I choose. I believe I have found that place to be at University Behavior Health in Denton, Texas. They offer the SAFE Alternatives program now for people that struggle with si and they also have the Minirth program, a top-notch Christian based program for people that suffer from depression and the like. I believe I will be starting next week. I am just waiting for final approval from my insurance. I am looking forward to this. It sounds like just what I have been looking for.
Thanks for the information!!!

I am so excited that you have found a place to get help! I would love to hear from you again after you've completed the program. There are a lot of questions from people about "what to expect" and your experiences will be invaluable in reassuring others considering treatment that it is okay and "safe". Good luck to you! :)
