Always one step at a time, and it's all going to have to get done sooner or later.

No point in resolutions if you can't achieve them. Or if they're so bendable you don't know if you have or not. "Shall endeavour to be more polite to strangers" doesn't exactly cut it in my book.

I'll help with tonight's company, but you're on your own for number three.

Now how did that get up there?

I'm crushed, though I won't turn down company. You had any place in mind?

Must be.

Kept yourself busy on Christmas Eve? Found myself a nice little pub in the Underground the last time I went out for a pint, so long as you don't mind slummin it a little.

2 is pretty easy to manage, although it helps if you have a guide.

Mind expanding on 5 and 5b a bit? Curious wizard is curious.

Revisit, I should say. It hasn't shown me too much trouble so far.

You ever heard of Thomas Carnacki?

It's not too bad if you're prepared for it.

Name sounds familiar but I can't really place it.

Bit messy with me still a tad low on supplies, but definitely manageable.

Occult detective. Discovered the Sigsand Manuscript and went about discovering things nasty and unknown when he heard about some unexplained phenomenon.

Why is a letter trying to kill you?

Because it's not a letter, it's my boss.

Why is your boss trying to kill you? Seems like a moot point to hire someone just to kill them.

I was hired long before he had any say in it and it's the only safe way to get rid of me.

I had come to apologise for my rude behaviour during the curse that returned my youth. Usually, I wouldn't, but my way of conduct was improper and foolish even for my age.

Apology accepted. Does that mean your vampire isn't going to be jumping me any time soon?
