this is about the time of night when my mistakes weigh heaviest on my mind.

Change can tear you apart inside or it can open your eyes and bring you so much closer to where you want to be. Either way change is inevitable and what really matters is how you respond to it. The noise in the signal,
the air in the sky,
the forecast is already made,

The static from fingers,
the color in our eyes,
are a sign..

And if storm clouds may linger,
if sunlight can hide,
then distance is greater than time.

i've realized things can only stay the same for so long before they change. It doesn't matter whether you want them to change or not. Two ships can only drift away until they come together. I cannot float indefinitely in the sea without washing up on a beach. The hard experiences, the times i am uncomfortable usually become my fondest memories.

i just read all of my entries. this gives me mixed emotions. there are some things i would give anything to do over, but in general it was pretty nice to look back. i feel pretty good. i work way too much. I'm noticing some new patterns forming that are certainly an improvement. I feel alot closer to understanding my place in the post-highschool world.
