Okay, I'm back. And logged in, and NOT at Starbucks. :D

Oh hon, I'm not sure if I can adequately say how much I loved this. I mean, I especially loved it because you wrote it just for me (although, I suspect my whining and puppy-dog looks may have had something with the last two as well ....)

But the whole arc is just fantastic. Mostly, I guess, because aside from the hot sex and the hilarious banter (“Congratulations,” Megamind sniffs. “But if you think I’m sticking my most valuable asset in there without testing the pressure levels then you’re crazy.”") <--- this line being one of my fav's!! , you've gone and given them the love and acceptance that they both were searching for in the film, and done it in such a way that I fall in love with the two of them all over again

I'm really glad that you've enjoyed the overall arc I've written for this pairing! One of my favorite aspects of this ship is, yes, the chemistry that they have together, and it was definitely my mission to show the gradual discovery of that natural attraction between them. I think there's something magical about falling in love with your best friend (and even when they're nemeses, that's also what they really are to each other), and Metro Man --- as self-aware as he is --- was the perfect character to explore that with

Just two days ago when I watched Megamind again it occurred to me how ironic it is that Metro Man is this very public figure, yet he is isolated from himself and the crowd of people surrounding him (as symbolized by the minute he is standing in the reflecting pool).

So, nice that Megamind and Metro Man both get what they want.
