Summary: Jared gets the giggles during their wedding vows. Jensen's ticked at first, but eventually laughs too.

Jared has this little issue with laughter. It’s not a huge thing, but he tends to start laughing at the most inopportune moments.
For example, in the middle of shooting one of the most serious scenes of the sixth season, he burst out laughing for no reason at all. He was trying really hard to rein it in, but another thing about Jared is that once he starts laughing, he has no control anymore and it takes a while to get him to stop. That scene had taken hours to shoot and he knows the entire cast and crew wanted to kill him but the thing was, Jared also somehow has this aura about him. If he starts cracking up, everyone around him does too.
Usually, they have no idea why they’re laughing so much. Jensen calls it his evil super power, but it’s not like Jared does it on purpose. Most of the time.
Another time, which was very very inopportune was during his wedding vows.
He looks down at the picture in his lap and reminisces of that day.
Jared had come up with the perfect vows to convey his love to Jensen. He actually sat down, thought about it, and channeled his English teacher mom to come up with something that Jensen would remember forever.
They were honest, loving, and perfect, and right in the middle of saying them, while looking into Jensen’s green eyes, he felt the laughter bubbling up inside him.
He tried so hard to keep it at bay, but to no avail. He burst out laughing, leaving Jensen open mouthed in shock and to the gasps of the audience. He thinks it was only a couple of seconds later but Jensen had started laughing too.
It was a beautiful sound, Jensen’s laughter, one of Jared’s favorite things about the man really. Jared tried catching his hitching breaths and looked over at Jensen, whose eyes were twinkling, the corners of them crinkled with mirth. His mouth was open and laughing and Jared suddenly stopped laughing, unable to look away from the gorgeous man in front of him.
In that moment he realized how truly lucky he was to marry Jensen. To be able to spend the rest of his life with Jensen.
He squeezed Jensen’s hand that was in his and Jensen looked at him, coming down from the laughing high.
You okay Jay? he mouthed and Jared nodded.
“What are you looking at Jared?” Jensen asks and startles Jared from the memory.
“Our wedding day pictures,” Jared says.
Jensen sits down next to him and looks down at the picture too, showing both of them cracking up for no reason at all.
“You know I’m actually glad we laughed, it let some of the nerves loose,” Jensen says.
“Mmmm,” Jared agrees.
Jensen’s hand rests on top of Jared’s and he can see the wrinkles in them, can feel the calluses from years of work.
Jared turns his head a little to catch Jensen’s gaze and his breath still catches in his throat at how beautiful Jensen is twenty five years later. It’s been a good life, if Jared does say so himself. He still can’t help laughing at the most ridiculous of times, but Jensen’s always there laughing next to him, so it’s alright.
