End of Part One

Nov 30, 2005 23:29

I've been thinking about it the last couple of days, and at first, what I was going to do was continue to write and post the story here. However, after brainstorming and outlining the remainder of the chapters, I realized that there isn't really that much left for me to write ( Read more... )

Fantastic chapter! I love the intercutting of Brian's thoughts at the end, yet he can't stop. I can't wait to see where you take this as you finish part 1. Are you planning to go immediately into a part 2?

Part 2 is actually already about 10,000 words in. I really want to get the first part edited and posted to queerasfandom before I go any further, because I really want to post the ending of the story completely edited, so it has impact on the first read and not just a bunch of typos, hahaha.

And thank you! I always love your feedback.

:sigh:
Just beautiful. Their relationship is almost poetic - and carnal, and hot as hell, and well, beautiful.. did I already say that?
I can't wait for the second part which, I fear, is going to be full of angst..
I'll be happy, however, to re-read the edited first part in queerasfandom.. and are you planning on writing other Brian fics?

I'm so glad you said that, because that's exactly the feeling I was trying to portray, and that's always hard for me on the first write because usually my words don't make sense hahaha. Anyways, yes. Thank you.

And I'm definitely planning on writing more fic. I uh, didn't think it would be so addicting, but it is.

Oh no, you so make sense on the first write, I can definitely assure you of that ;)

I'm so glad you find writing addicting.. that means I'll be able to count on a bunch of fics of yours in the future ^^

Holy fucking hell. That was incredible. I've got so many favorite lines/passages...

It’s like running down a hill, this angled ground that breaks gravity into shards and each broken piece presses on your back, forcing you until your shoulders begin to move over your running feet, and you feel yourself falling. Gravity takes hold, and it’s impossible to stop -- even if you wanted to save yourself from everything that you know it will bring.

This made me stop breathing there for a sec.

And the whole final sequence...whoa. I say sequence because this whole thing has been cinematic (along with the rest of your fics). The way you describe things, the pace you use...it's unlike anything I've ever read before. I can literally see all of this happening on a film screen. The way you cut between the B/J in bed and Brian being sentenced was masterful.

Man, you rule. It's really interesting that you say that about the film thing, because that's usually how I see fic ideas playing out in my head before/as I write them. I think I'm too dramatic/visual of a person, hahaha.

Thanks for commenting/leaving feedback, it always makes me happy.

No! Not at all. This is just another element of why I love your work so much. When you did the trailer for Basements, I went nuts because the whole thing was just as I had imagined. I'm glad you get what I'm saying though about the film connections. I keep wanting to say, "That was great parallel editing" or something like that.

BTW...You know that LJ's been a pain in the ass lately. I left a message for you on my page about Treble Charger (loving em!), but I don't know if you've seen it yet.

You uploaded one of the songs twice so the last one in the first album you posted is wrong. That sounds really confusing. Track 12 came up twice so I need Track 13. Better?

Ah, thanks LJ.

And sorry about that! I'll reupload the track now, and comment again when it's done.
