The thought of Perfect Strangers coming on at nine was the only thing that got me through Full House and Mr. Belvedere on Friday nights.

I used to looooove Mr. Belvedere, but that may have just been because it had the best, catchiest theme song EVER. I would argue that to the death. Hearing that song once could make me smile for at least 20 minutes straight.

Full House on the other hand was a horrible pile of poo, and though I think I might have accidentally watched every episode ever made, even during my childhood I didn't enjoy it!

A guy at a bar a few years back when I was singled mentioned that he watched Perfect Strangers at 5am before work every day. We almost hit it off after that, until I tried to find the show at 5am and couldn't. I can handle being lied to about a LOT of things, but not Perfect Strangers!

Perhaps the guy wasn't lying. Maybe he was so hardcore a Perfect Strangers fan that he had all the original episodes recorded on VHS!

Hahaha! Okay that would have been awesome.

I think I'd like to meet the person who did record all of those onto VHS. Lord knows someone must have because they are all on youtube!

Noooooo! Annie!

At least she's going to a better place. Although I'm not sure California is a better place, but then, being from Seattle, I have a natural animosity toward Californians.

That doesn't explain why I've been in a relationship with a Californian for over 10 years . . .

School is definitely a better place for her and she's super talented art-wise and would make an awesome teacher! I'm so going to love it twenty years from now when she's all prim and proper and teacher-y and her students google her an mp3 of her talking about a fuzzy black condom. Ahhh... those will be the days.

I tend to love displaced Californians but am totally not a fan of California. I really have yet to find anywhere in CA that I find interesting or worth hanging out for any considerable length of time. I would argue NY is SOOOO much better, which I will argue to Annie as soon as she's done with school! If anything I can get her to take regular visits back here!

You know her! She's that actress that was in that movie with the chimpanzee who accidentally gets elected senator. What a wacky tale!
