This week seemed to go by really quickly.. but I thought it was a good week.

On Wednesday we had a different model this time for our session.. this time a girl around our age I guess. We had to start painting our actual project. It's not supposed to be a realistic representation of the human figure though.. its focus should be more about movement ( Read more... )

Wow I am so sleepy.. this term all my classes start at 8:30.. except for Tuesdays because I have Tuesdays off, and Thursdays of course, which is my teaching day.

On Mondays I have an education course on teaching language.. The prof seems really chill (but skill knowledgeable). My first project is due on Monday.. it's pretty simple though. I just ( Read more... )

So I fail at keeping promises, but I have a legit reason for not posting. I've been productive during my break so far. I made a bunch of cool, pop-up Christmas cards. And did a drawing for the family I babysit. They insisted on paying me for the drawing but I told them it was a present lol.

Yeaaa... I should be reading.. or doing something productive right now.. *sigh* Can't even enjoy Friday nights because I feel like I should be working..

But, it's been a good week I guess.

So for tomorrow's Hallelujah Party (this thing at church where kids get to dress up cute, play games, win candy), I had to make two 'jack-o-lantern' costumes for this skit that some older kids are performing.

*sigh* It has been a while since my last post.. well 'business' is my excuse haha.

Hmm but really, nothing out of the ordinary has happened.. Well actually there was that one time the bus broke down on the way to school and I was late for my 8:30 class ><. I hate being late.

Hmm I'm trying to think if anything interesting happened this week..

I've been having trouble staying awake in two of my classes.. Both of the art history ones. They are pretty boring. I know the profs aren't paid to be interesting, but I would learn the material so much better if class was engaging.

Today I had a creative project due for my education course about adolescents. We had to find newspaper articles which talked about teens, and analyze it in relation to a course reading. And of course we had to do something 'creative' as well.
