If you feel like writing an epic with OT3 happy ending, I am totally down with that! I really want that! In fact I totally second the prompt above mine.
But mostly I just want Neal. On the plane. Crying.

In Which There Is Crying
Neal fidgeted in his seat.
The belt pinched. He unbuckled it.
He looked up. He looked to the side, out the window. It was such a small window.
He was in a cage.
But then:
The sun came out. It peeked out from behind the corner of a cloud. It shone over the water, over the island, over the greatest city in the world, Neal's home and his prison. It shone so bright it hurt to look at.

Can't wait to see how JE manages to write his way out of this one without Neal winding up in prison for life and Peter fired.

Raw and emotional and probably exactly what he was thinking. I only hope Peter and El appear in this somewhere. Thanks for not waiting.

Oh god, this is heartbreaking. :(
The plane was excellent, with that horrible irrevocable feeling just starting to sink in. And this one - I was scared to read it just from the title, an empty bed is such a desolate image. I love that the whole thing was worse because the bed didn't smell right - that felt very true. And now I am sad.
(Which is EXACTLY what I wanted, so thank you)
