Well, not a very eventful Halloween. Less than half the kids we usually get. Lots of teenagers with no real costume on. I gave them a hard time, as usual, and rewarded people with decent costumes, or at least a good story to go with their crappy costume. Kind of disappointing. I have an office again!!! I'm not sure what changed, but they found someone I can share an office with. It's not the same office as before, but still, it will be awesome to have a place to leave my stuff for my lab and to have a place where I can go to work with minimal distractions.

I don't feel quite so homeless as I did before.

I'm reading this book right now called A Mathematician Reads the Newspaper about mathematical ideas and techniques that pop up when you're reading the newspaper. Wowee. It has taken a lot longer than I ever thought it would, but I finally finished my photo album for my summer trip. It has taken a few days and I filled up 2 big photo albums, but I'm happy with what I have. I'm in Calgary. Doing a crap-load of visiting. I'm going to be totally worn out by this trip, but it will have been worth it. I've gotten tonnes of visiting time with my Grandma.
