Oh, I like this! Great stream-of-consciousness, and an excellent Jacob voice.

Thanks! Honestly, that wrote itself in about 10 minutes, so I can hardly take any credit. I was browsing through the prompts, telling myself that I was NOT going to enter. Before I knew it, I had snagged the F and had popped out a fic. I love Death Knell and adore Jacob, so it was a perfect, easy match.

Once again, thanks so much for reading and commenting!!! You're such a jewel for keeping SG-1 gen fic and the alphabet soup going!

I can really see having to wait for the team to find Sam as being incredibly difficult for Jacob! He's not a 'wait' kind of guy, and in this circumstance it must have been pretty much unbearable.

That's what I thought, especially since he had grown used to Selmak healing him quickly. Plus, he saw everything blown up, so it must have crossed his mind that Sam went with the blast.

Thanks so much for reading and commenting!

What a wonderful Jacob voice you have. I actually had an image of him in my mind as I read this. Very tender :)

Thank you so much! I've never tried writing Jacob, but I adore the character and tried to think about how he would feel as a parent in that situation. I hope to get the opportunity to write more Jacob/Sam stories. I appreciate the encouraging comment!

A very nice look into Jacob as a father, and father!
