I can't post a picture of my high school.
The building I had classes in from August 1975 to June 1979 is enclosed in another building called Hillside Middle School.

The new high school is several miles away in what used to be brush, I think, or part of the golf course. It's not on what we always told people was the highest hill in Wayne County ( Read more... )

Every time I look at this I find mistakes, but overall, I think it's pretty good; and i've spent five hours on the writing part of it already so I'm going to bed now. If something doesn't make sense to you in it now, but you think the rest of it is funny or charming, please read it later because I will have cleaned it up.

It's cool! I enjoyed reading it. I don't remember any klating forwards or anything like that at my school, but I was definitely in the uncool crowd who didn't have y-traps or reeb or anything. We started the computer club and went on a field trip to the science museum in Toronto...

The group I started hanging out with didn't have anything in common academically...actually, we had everything in common academically, becaues this was PRE-computers and unless you took an AP class everyone had the same classes. Primarily it started out as a few of the smarter kids who had been on extended school year before we got assimilated into the rest of the school ( ... )
