First attempt beating egg whites into meringue by hand. Took me ages. I have to say that I was tempted to give up many times along the way and use my stand mixer. The result wasn't too bad. Rather addictive and this is coming from someone who never really liked meringues. Meringues are like baked clouds.

I'd always despised people who wallow in self pity. Today I realised that nobody is going to feel any pity for you or so much so as give a shit about you anyways. So I just read the news about chc. Can't say I'm all that surprised. I mean, it is rather difficult to explain "crossover project" to others and even more so when you have to justify funding it. Finally getting around to get me a driving license. Can you imagine me driving? I'm probably gonna have to get some sort of a leg extension/ stick to prod at the accelerator and brakes.
