Not Art
“What the hell is it?”

“I have no idea.”

“Megan!”

“What?”

“Any idea what this is supposed to be?”

“Hunh. No.”

“Don!”

“Yeah?”

“Come here.”

“Reeves, you do know that I’m the boss, not you, right.”

“Whatever. Just come here.”

“Fine. What is it?”

“That’s what we’re wondering.”

“That’s weird.”

“Exactly. We have no idea what it’s supposed to be.”

“I don’t get it. How is this art?”

“Granger, you wouldn’t know art if it whacked you in the face.”

“Thank you, Megan. But seeing as how you don’t know what it is, either, I wouldn’t be talking.”

“It looks like a Smurf summer camp cabin.”

“Okay. I can see that. Kind of.”

“Really? Because all I see is a blue square.”

“Colby, it is clearly modern art with a deep symbolic meaning for the artist.”

“Like what, Megan? Oh, I know, maybe it’s a set piece from the Blue Man Group. Come on, it’s a blue cube. I could have done that. Actually, I think I did in fifth grade art. And I failed that project because it lacked originality.”

“Maybe you didn’t do it right.”

“It’s a blue cube, Don!”

“Sorry, guys, but I’m with Colby on this one. Not even Colby can mess up painting a cube blue. And this, right here, is a blue cube, which is not art.”

“Actually, that’s why we called you. That’s where the vase displayed before was before it was stolen.”

“Oh.”

“See, I told you guys that it wasn’t art.”
