The planet Eos, Eos being the goddess of... the dawn, apparently. While it's a little disorienting to move about with the ship tilted like this, at least we seem to be getting to see another planet. Something I've always wanted to do. Unsurprisingly enough, I have a bad feeling about this...Has anyone else

Goddess of the Dawn? [Ammy's ears perk. This information has gotten her attention.]

Seems to be, yes. Sister of the god of the Sun, Helios, and the Moon, Selene. Greek mythology.

[Ammy's nose wrinkles, her ears fold back at this. Another sun goddess? What? It takes her a moment to realize she's growling, and when she does she coughs, glancing away and looking a bit sheepish.]

[Ianto kind of looks at her for that, but doesn't press... errrr.] ... Um. Right.

The Greek mythology's familiar to me, but it's not a planet I've heard of. Of course, the Doctor's the one who'd really know, so that's not saying much.

[cofficer]

Hm. [thoughtfully looking at the book again] Even Eos' involvement with a... Ganymede? [slightly amused sniff, but not thinking too much of it. at the moment. maybe.] I hope the Doctor will at least know something about our destination, alternate reality or not.

...hah! I hadn't made that connection. I wonder if we'll find any answers with that train of thought. Wouldn't be surprised if a Tithonus cropped up on this ship. Then again, not much surprises me here anymore!

[pauses] Now wait a second. I'm sure I've heard of Eos somewhere else. Which is weird since I know I haven't been there. Is it ringing a bell for you at all?

[cofficer]

Just what we need, Greek mythology repeating itself. [said with a smile]

Sort of. That's actually why I went looking.

Do you get to see lots of different planets regularly?

[cofficer]

Ah... no, unfortunately. I've never been away from Earth.

[tofindhappiness]

Me neither. Well, not until I came here, that is.

[cofficer]

It's a shame we should be stuck inside this ship. Still, I... hope we actually do get somewhere with this 'detour'. It might be nice.

Hmmmmm, I know of an asteroid Earth scientists have called 221 Eos, after the Greek goddess of the dawn, but that planet there... [narrows his eyes as he stares at it and doesn't speak again for a few minutes]

[waits, curious as to what he might be thinking about] Doctor?

Well, to be perfectly honest, I have no clue! [gives a little laugh] And here I thought I knew every planet and sun in the universe!
