water broke at 3:45 Am....was told to go in to the hospital once I was showered and packed.
dilated 1 cm when I got there....no contractions or progress for a few hours.
Pitocin drip made the contractions go crazy, they hurt a lot....dilated 5 cm.
Got an epidural/spinal combo due to my scoliosis...only half took

Oh congrats! I saw the pics on FB and wanted to come here to see if there was anymore posted. She is so beautiful.
I am sorry you ended up with a c-section--sounds a bit like my story with Jack. Didn't progress past 6cm, he didn't descend...so c-section is was. Good news is that you have a healthy baby, and you'll heal quickly. The fussiness will go away after a bit-and don't be afraid of mylicon drops if she's gassy and fussy because of that.
Congratulations-I am so happy that you have your little girl to hug and love. *hugs* Ain't life grand?

Congrats! So happy for you and I like hearing your war story. Seriously, get the swing. ANd remember this is a hard transition time going from taking care of you alone to another person. It takes awhile to fully adjust to, so don't beat yourself up if it takes time to feel the rhythm of it all.
