I assume it was all a curse. The evidence is all there, what with the Network posts...

Still. Doesn't make it alright.

So I just wanted to appologize to every person I shot, especially those I killed, which was almost everybody, thanks to the sniper rifle...

Right.

Anyway.Next thing on the agenda is the fact that I need a job. I couldn't find ( Read more... )

Yeah. To my defense, I'm only eighteen.

Well, I suppose you are starting a little early.

Possibly. But I can't give it up now.

I don't know of any jobs like that, sorry.

Well it was a long shot anyway...

How have you been, Kara?

I'm good, other than the really annoying curse the other day. How about you?

Realizing that "deities made me shoot all those people" is a valid defense line around here. Which is extremely amusing... If you have a weird sense of humor.

You know how to put a sample into a machine and read the printout.

They beating your door down with offers, yet?

I'm starting to feel like this whole place is an exercise in sarcasm. Try asking around the coffee shops; with a skillset like that you should make a barista in no time.

I'll probably do that if I don't find anything else. The coffee they make at Tournabout Cafe is good, but it could be better...

What's so special about making coffee?

coffeenspeed May 22 2009, 18:55:40 UTC
I'm not sure how to answer to that...

Do you grind coffee beans yourself, or something?

Reply

coffeenspeed May 22 2009, 19:25:53 UTC
It's the way you brew it that makes all the difference.

I went through five different blends before I found my favorite. So that's six, adding three of my Mom's favorites (though that double chocolate cappucino has so little coffee it's doesn't deserve the name), cappucino that is really a coffee flavored milk that my friend insists on drinking, espresso (which is a lot harder to make than people think) and those iced drinks like frappucino which people call coffee as well.
Though there's still a lot to learn, really.

..

You're Zach or John?

Wow. More about coffee than I ever expected to know, even on a surface level.

Zach. How'd you guess?

I had an interesting conversation with Derek Reese.
