THE COFFEE KIT CAFE IS NOW OPEN

Jul 04, 2011 20:31

You're walking down the sidewalk on a hot, sunny day, bored with the monotony of your life. You pause by the stop sign and wait for the light to turn red so you can cross the street. You idly think about what awaits you--another day at work? School? Ugh, how boring--and just wish that you can just get away from it all ( Read more... )

Germany would think a catboy to be strange if he weren't familiar with some of the weirdos in his own mun's headspace. Even so, he stares after the tiny Spain as he departs, and then casts his eyes down to examine the card he's been given. Well, no choice but to check out this cafe. Hopefully even if it turns out to be a waste of time, he can at least get a cup of coffee. The latter seems likely, since he can smell coffee as soon as he pushes open the door to have a look around.

You'll probably get two soon enough XD; preussen_ore July 12 2011, 10:25:06 UTC
And the next thing Germany sees after he opens the door is Prussia.

Running towards him.

In a maid's uniform.

Screaming.

"WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEST! GET ME OUTTA HERE NOW!"

"Gilbert! Was...?!" He is instantly tense and on the alert, assuming that his brother is in some sort of trouble. The most alarming bit about that particular train of thought is this trouble is bad enough that Prussia is running from it instead of fighting. The fact that Prussia is wearing a maid's uniform is only a secondary concern.

"What is it?! What's going on?"

And since Germany isn't moving out of the way, Prussia will just use him as a human shield. There's definitely an advantage to Germany's superior height and muscle. The Prussian quickly scurries around him, putting him in the way of his yet-unnamed pursuer.

"Make her stop!"

"Giiiiiiiiiilbeeeeeeeeeeeert~ YOU DROPPED YOUR EARS!"

Long, silver hair flying. Violet eyes flashing.

And a devilish smirk.

It's probably a very familiar sight for Germany. Usually, it's his brother who will be charging after someone, determined to catch them and use them for his amusement. That's not the case right now as his brother becomes the prey (the bunny?) of his... sister?

It's definitely a female Prussia who is coming towards them fast, one hand holding a pair of fluffy bunny ears that seems to belong over a certain male Prussian's head.

He's never met a female Prussia before, but Ludwig's mun has like, five different Nyotalia muses running around in the headspace (including a little female Germany >>), so at least the concept of gender-swapping isn't foreign to him. The distinctive hair and eyes (and presumably Julchen's accent as well) are enough to allow him to figure out the identity of this woman. But even though it was easy to identify her.... he still stares.

Automatically, he moves to shield Gilbert when the older nation hides behind him. It's something of an instinct he feels, to take care of Prussia, even if it's to protect him from another Prussia. "Perhaps they'd look better on you... schwester?"

"I agree!" Prussia is quick to yell over Germany's shoulder, probably bursting his poor brother's eardrums. He eyes Julchen with a glare as he stays behind his bigger but younger brother. He is not putting on those ears again. Never!

And she's never met a male Germany before. Well, one other time, but she had no idea at the time that he's Germany and she kind of hit on him a little. What?! He's tall, blond and handsome! How can she not?!

"But they're not mine!" She answers, waving the ears around, grinning. "They're Gilbert's!"

Luckily, he's quite used to Prussia's shouting, and it doesn't even faze him. Flirting from Julchen, on the other hand, would probably make him a bit uncomfortable. There have been at least two occasions where historical versions of his brother, who only knew Ludwig as a small boy, had unknowingly tried to pick him up because of his blond handsomeness.

"I can't see something such as that belonging to him. He was probably forced into them against his will." Because that's what muns tend to do, isn't it?

"It's because they look cute on him~" Which is the truth really. There's just something about Prussia with white rabbit ears that makes him (or her) just adorable. She smiles winningly at Germany, violet eyes wide and sweet. "Right~?"

...She probably would be more convincing if her name isn't Prussia.

This Prussia definitely does not agree, even as a blush mars his pale cheeks (Out of fucking embarrassment! Gott! I AM NOT CUTE!). He glares at Julchen and the godforsaken rabbit ears even as he stays firmly behind his brother, maybe even huddling there a bit. Shut up, he's not being a sissy. All bets come off when you're faced with the un-awesomeness and girliness of ubercute rabbit ears.

"Don't you dare let those eyes get to you, West." Gilbert practically growls. "Don't you fucking dare."

Whether or not the ears would look cute on Gilbert is irrelevant. (As is the question of whether or not Gilbert is cute in general, to which Germany would answer a secret 'yes.' But again. Irrelevant.) His brother is clearly opposed to wearing the ears, and that is all the reasoning he needs to not let those eyes work their magic on him.

"I still think they'd look better on you. He clearly doesn't want to wear them, so I'm not going to help you force him into them, if that is what you're expecting." Don't worry, bro. He's got your back.

And that earns Germany a hard, manly thump on the shoulder from his grinning brother behind him. Clearly, he's being more violent and macho than usual to make up for his very cutesy and feminine attire. "You tell 'er, West!"

Red eyes take on a more devilish sheen as he smugly grins at the female Prussian with the bunny ears. "I am not putting them back on! Over my fucking dead body!"

Oh poo. It didn't work.

Julchen just eyes them with a bit of resentment for a few moments. Boys. They always ruin her fun. And so with that she sighs and throws up her arms, bunny ears and all.

"Well hell, what am I supposed to do now?"
