I've been watching The Wire, and I kinda sorta miss Charm City. Not that The Wire's Baltimore was ever my Baltimore, but the idea of Baltimore makes me sad for it. I miss the City Paper, Hampden, even Greenmount and the stretches of fried chicken joints/hairstylists/bail bondsmen/check chasing/corner churches/liquor stores

How much of The Wire do you have? I'm debating downloading all of it, so I can sit down and get my B-more fix whenever I (or we) want.

I miss people being 3 blocks away, terrible wings, the tease we got from Uni's (Unis!!!) being open for only a month before we left, your chill house, the 315, 3010 and so much other stuff.

It's a part of us now...Charm City fo Life :)

Hmm. I have absolutely no familiarity with "The Wire" or Baltimore, so I don't have anything to say except that it would be nice to see you again. Do you want to hang out sometime and catch up? Go to Davis or something?

I miss Greenmout too. But you forgot the store where our lovely grill came from! I miss it too.
