Then As it Was, Then Again it Will Be Supernatural Ellen; PG 900 words A/N: a coda, of sorts, to "All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 1." Spoilers only for that ep. I know nothing of what's to come. Thanks to mcee for read-through.
So I think Kripke and Co. should do a couple of episodes that focus on Ellen next season and should totally hire you to write them because HOLY HELL this is so good. The details are just great (stick figure drawing!) and while I think you always do alll of your characters justice, it's also easy to see which characters you love the most. *sigh* This is perfect.
Oh, wow, that hurt to read and I *needed* to read this right now.
Lovely descriptions, everything that was lost. The parallel she sees between herself and John was a particularly achey moment. And I just loved this: In the end, she does the only thing she can: stand in the sun and the wind and cry herself out, quietly, her head bowed and her shoulders shaking. Take one last look at it all and see what was instead of what is. What might be again, someday.

That's lovely. Totally *right* that she thinks for a moment of John... But oh...wow. That's just...perfect.
