Thanks for this! I would be mightily pissed if they killed off Ellen! It's bad enough that they leveled the Roadhouse, and who knows how many hunters. And I think we're gonna need all the hunters we can get....

Wow that was perfect. I'm desperately hoping we get some kind of closure on the Roadhouse but if we don't, this is great. Poor Ellen.

but i'm sure that we'll get *some* kind of closure. maybe not in the season finale, but maybe next season (and there *better* be a next season!).

Oh, this is wonderful. I really hope we see Ellen in the finale, or next season again, and that they treat her as well as you have here.

There are very few Ellen fics that I've found, and none at all dealing with the loss of the Roadhouse. This is painfully perfect, a wonderful salute to that hunters' haven of the road. I couldn't believe they'd just waste the place like that! Which makes me very glad you paid this tribute to it. *sniff* Great use of Ellen's voice, sounds just like her, both her vulnerability and her strength. I am both anxious and fearful of seeing her in the next episode!

the loss of the roadhouse hit me harder than almost anything else in the episode. i've gotten very attached to it! :(
