This was completely new to me - I'm wondering if the writer is thinking of soldiers actually in Vietnam, rather than protesters at home.

That's why I undertook to Kon Mari my closets at least. I have also made a few inroads on books and also papers left over from various workplaces. No one demands paper samples any more, so as long as I have digital files, i figure I'm ok. And I've scanned all the important old paper samples.
