I love it when really talented people discover fandom. Because they produce things like
Fire Nation Graffiti (and other primary sources). Funny, and a bit heart-breaking.
The Doctor meets
a bunch of Gateverse characters, and it's just hella funny.
I finished Chapter III of
Carpetbaggers last night! Holy cow, this story is almost 40,000 words long and I've only been writing since the end of July. For me, that's hella fast.
Now I have to think about Chapter IV: what's going to happen, outlines, conflict, character balance, etc etc etc. The longer the story gets, the more work it becomes, with the accumulating weight of the established story behind it--this thing could go careening off the rails very easily.
