I'm a bit disappointed that all we've had of Smash is the stuff so very closely associated with the football. Where's his family? Where's Waverly? Where's the racial politics? (I wonder if this is something the network told them to tone down in which case COFAX SMASH.)
I don't think it is; last season we also did not get Smash-centric episodes until partway through the season. The concentration in the beginning was Matt's first weeks of QB, Jason and Lyla in the hospital, Tim's resistance to acknowledging what had happened to Jay, etc. Once those settled down, then the show branched out to Smash, Tyra, etc. This isn't much different, I think.
Mr. Clark is absolutely going to blame the victim here; I can't tell if he has any idea of Landry's involvement yet.See, I don't think he is going blame Tyra; I think he's doing so now because he's afraid of what he suspects happened, that Landry IS involved.
