I bought them for my aunt for Christmas, because she will like the pictures, but before I thought that she is a 60 year old woman and does not create her identity out of buttons stuck on hoodies...she'll have to find something else to do with them. If I mention that I bought some buttons/badges at the place where I bought the buttons/badges (www. ( Read more... )

I did, I got it. They didn't put any medicine in it, though, so there's just a titanium pump in my torso. The incision wounds HUUURRRT probably not as much as having a baby, but it really burns when I move my abdomen. They have me little pills for it though. Next week I go back and they shoot the pump full of morphine and then my back gets to feel better, and I hop the incision pain will be better too. I can't poke the big bandage too much, and I can't tell what's bandage and what's swelling and what's machine, but it FEELS like the metal pump mechanism (about the size of an ipod) sticks out. I wonder if one could SEE it sticking out of me? I guess I don't care.

I'm sure my auntie will find a use for her buttons. Besides, I like doing the xmas shopping. My mom hates trying to figure out what people would like to have, but I like it.

Talk to you later! (and I'm so impressed you remember the day I was supposed to have surgery! I can't even remember birthdays unless it's yours 'cause it's easy or unless Facebook reminds me.)

Owwww! That's crappy. I hope you feel better soon. It probably doesn't stick out as much as you think it does. Who cares anyway since next you'll be pain free, yippee!

Of course I remember the day, I have been thinking of it since you posted your blog about it. Somewhere in the giant file cabinet that is my brain I kept thinking,"so many more days until Em is pain free and can frolick again!"
