Incredibly cute )) To answer your questions you should be able to sand the rust down even and use a liquid sander on the rest. As far as paint goes , where there's a will there's a way. They even have paint now to refurbish appliances. Either hit the local home store or even better if there is a Mom & Pop paint store in your area.

You should be able to find the paint on the net also. Good luck. Post pics when your done.

If you can't tell I'm a bit of a decor person. That used to be what I did for a living before the economy died. I LOVE to update houses and use vintage pieces.

Oh the economy! I've been trying to build a house and boy-I know what you mean!

I couldn't resist this find. People search years for these- really. Usually they've already been demoed and you have salvage what you can. This was a GREAT stroke of luck. About this paint- it's baked enamel. I could sand and repaint quite easily but I want to keep to the spirit of the pieces. That takes skill, machinery and the only folks who can pull it off are high-end restorers and automotive painters. Since I can afford neither I'll have to look for other fixes.

None of that matters though. I'll figure something out. I'm completely in love with them. I can't wait to see them in my space! I'll def. post pics when done.

You should post a few pics of your pieces and restoration work. I could use some inspiration. :)
