My skins_bigbang fic is up to just over 3k! Woop! I guess that's nothing to be too excited about, since 7k is the recommended word count for last week's check-in. XD A bunch of people are already done with one or two stories which makes me feel slow, but I'm far from the only one still under 5k so I don't feel too bad. I need to get as much done as possible

I've not seen A Single Man yet. I really must give it a look some time.
I used to be a huge fan of Woody Allen, and Manhattan, Annie Hall, and Play it again, Sam are stiil at the top of my favourite films ever. I've not seem anything thing of his made in the last 15 or so years though. Maybe I should.

I haven't seen a bunch of other Woody Allen films, but I'd recommend VickyChristina. Essentially it's about a couple of best friends, Americans, who spend the summer in Spain and both wind up sleeping with the same man. It seemed to me though that it's also about the flaws of two opposite approaches to life, being a directionless free spirit, always out to "find yourself" and never satisfied, or being overly-serious and focused too much on success and stability and not what it costs you to get there. It's a really good movie. And hot! Scarlett Johansson makes out with Penelope Cruz, what more do you need? :P /endrant

Add away bb :) Sucks you had to drop out of the big bang, but I understand, I'm gonna have to work my ass off to get it done on time, I'm such a slow writer.
My fic is gonna center around Katie, Effy, Cook and Freddie, in pretty much every ship combination. It's post S3, ignoring S4 entirely :P
