In an attempt to attract wildlife, i cut up half a dozen old apples and threw the chunks all over the snow near the side porch of my house.  I'm hoping for something like a moose or a bear, but i would be just as happy with the squirrels and the porcupines ( Read more... )

Right before i went to bed last night the wind started blowing and the barometric pressure started headin' down.  It gets very windy here very quickly, it always surprises me how the wind really blows through this area, and when it really gets going i always think it's going to take the house down.  But it doesn't.  The wind seems to have carried ( Read more... )
