NDK is putting a cap on attendance this year. =/ If you buy your badge a few months ahead of time you will have nothing to worry about and hotel rooms open next week! If you love it plan ahead so you don't miss out ( ... )

I'll add that I absolutely love going to Starfest, but anytime I've worn lolita there it's confused the hell out of people. XD I've never received a bad reaction there, mind you, mostly just curious folk who have had no exposure to the fashion and don't understand why you have ponies and cupcakes in your hair.

I'll also add that I only recommend Wasabi if you really want an excuse to come to Denver. They have a reputation of being very disorganized and I've found the crowd to be quite a bit younger/rowdier. Certainly not the worst convention I've ever attended, but there are probably better options (such as AnimeFest.)

I'll tell them the good stories about starfest.

My friends are abit older than me, and I'm sure they would enjoy starfest alot! And I'll ask them about how they would feel about Wasabi. :)
