Because CMFFAs was unable to host their 2011 fanfic awards and told me that they would not accept help (and declined to do other alternatives like postponing them), we decided to create our own awards.

So we present to you - Criminal Minds Favorite Fics of 2011!

In some cases, especially at fanfiction.net, people post multiple drabbles that are somewhat unrelated (such as, they all relate to one character) as a multi-chapter fic. If it seems clear that there is no story arc, but it's just an organizing device, may we nominate individual chapters as drabbles?

This is pretty common at ff.net, where it's inconvenient to have too many very short stories listed separately. Hope this makes sense...

Or, could the author be asked to repost the "chapters" as drabbles without violating the timeframe, since they were originally posted in 2011?

If it seems clear that they are unconnected, then yes, that's acceptable.

For anyone who is thinking of doing this, when you submit your ballot, if you could make an additional note ("just chapter [x]"), that would be really helpful for us. Thanks!
